That being said, I am sure that some of you out there are wondering the same thing that I was when dealing with Dell Servers and Terminal Services. How do you remove that annoying splashscreen/Wallpaper when logging into a Dell Server? Well my friends, it turns out that it is a simple registry hack – Below:

Navigate to HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop

You will see a number of values on the right, find the one labeled “Wallpaper”, Edit it and clear the contents of the value. Once complete, Log off and back on and see if the Wallpaper comes up again.
